Layaways used to mean coming back to the store every time you wanted to make a payment. Not anymore. Whether you started your layaway at our Bridge City or Houma store or here online, you can make payments on it online — anytime, from your phone or computer. Use the same email you gave the cashier and it's waiting for you.
How we find your order
We match you by email
When you shop or start a layaway in store, the cashier saves it under your name, phone number, and email. Online, your account is your email — so as long as the two emails are the same, we connect everything for you automatically.
Same email? You're all set
Create your online account with the same email you gave the cashier. Your in-store layaways — and your purchase history from March 4, 2025 onward — show up on your account, ready to pay down online.
Different email? One quick step
If the email on your account doesn't match the one we have for you in store, we can't link them automatically. Stop by Bridge City or Houma and ask any cashier for User ID Integration — they'll connect your records so everything appears online.

Four steps, start to pickup
Build your order
Add at least $400 of anything — beads, costumes, party supplies — to your cart, then choose Layaway at checkout.
Start it online
Put down a 20% deposit from home — no trip to the store just to set it up. We lock in this season's pieces and today's pricing for you.
Pay it down online
Make payments toward your balance anytime from your account, at your own pace. Pay a little each week — all online, no second errand.
Pick it up in store
Once it's paid off, collect everything at Bridge City or Houma before the season deadline. We'll have it ready and waiting.
The fine print

No refunds or exchanges on layaway orders.

Layaways require a $400 order total minimum with a non-refundable 20% deposit to start.
- 3
Your layaway must be paid off and picked up on or before the season deadline, or it will be canceled. You can pay it down online or in store; pickup is at the same store where the layaway was started.

Upon cancellation, items are restocked and the deposit is forfeited.

To pick up, the balance must be paid in full and the order collected by the layaway owner with a valid photo ID.

Mardi Gras Beads Factory reserves all rights to replace items in the layaway and to provide final explanation.
Layaway availability closes ahead of Mardi Gras each season so orders can be completed and picked up in time — start early so you don't miss out.
